Associate Group

Our Associate Artist Membership is for independent artists with a leaning towards the contemporary who are seeking to professionalise their practice within a peer-to-peer setting.

This growing peer-to-peer support group for artists has now been meeting for over 7 years.

We meet regularly on the second Tuesday of each month usually at 6.30pm. The pattern can vary but is agreed at each meeting.

The purpose of these meetings is to provide the chance for artists to come together with their peers. This could include the following:

  • To share experience and opportunities.
  • To consult or problem solve.
  • To organise social activities.
  • To arrange trips to exhibitions/open studios, with the opportunity to share transport and costs.

The main function is to deliver a peer-to-peer support network.

WEBSITE

  • Paid up Associates are entitled to a place on King Street Studios website with a short artist statement and up to four examples of their work, with a link to their own preferred sites (Website, Facebook, Instagram, etc)

Membership is

£5 Month or £55 per Year

Our Associate Artist group regularly meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month at our gallery on King Street and via Zoom
