Mission Statement:
We believe that being moved by art and creating art in all its forms has the power to bind us all together; to see, to share and to feel what it is to be alive. With a spotlight on the visual arts, in all its manifestations, our focus is to bring art and people together to celebrate the health, power and energy being creative can bring into our lives.
The project that is King Street Arts seeks to support artists and the public by creating exhibitions, projects and workshops which bring artists, art and the public together to stretch boundaries and look for new horizons.
Through art we can, Connect, Share and Create Communities.
As a not-for-profit organisation any spare income we generate from or activates goes towards creating new workshops and opportunities for the public to engage with the visual arts: the more income we generate the more opportunities we can create for widening participation with the benefits of having a creativity in our lives.
